    Blazeman...You'll like this!

    Steve,
Got caught up on work today and went to the paint shop to see the base coat put on the Harley. It is candy apple brandy wine over gold base metallic. Tomorrow he will wet sand everything and start the gold leaf graphics.
He should be done with it next week and we can get back to putting it back together. Beautiful color in the sun.

I like the color!!! Gambler idea perhaps!! The rear fender is kick a@# also!! Did you do the fender & are we going with a 240 rear?? I hope so with that fender design!! A little Legend Air would be nice also for the suspension!! Can't wait to see it!! You definetly have the touch when it comes to picking colors!!

    LMAO
You can yell at him until you are blue in the face. Big caution sign in the booth. He won't wear one. The owner was yelling at him today about it. I told him, the painter hasn't listen to you in 15 years I don't think today is the starting point in his life.
    Blaze,
We did the fender with the help of Ben 06Gambler who is a tremendous welder. And of course the painter finishes the body work. Did you notice all the welds on the frame have been molded in. This guy is really good.
And absolutely on the 240 rear tire.
I forget the name of the biker magazine but this month featured bike is the black and white scarface bike. This is the guy who painted that one.

    Sandy,
This guy is one of the top muralists in South Florida. Many of his bikes are in magazines. He did bikes such as the "highagain" painted like Heineken beer. The money bike. Before wraps he painted most of the radio station vehicles. He is slow but very good.
He just finished a bike before mine. Took almost 7 weeks with fabrication shipped in from California called the Devil's Advocate. I'm sure it will be in the next magazines.

Several years ago down at Mary Ann Martin's Marina, then Roland's, I saw a blue Gambler that had this picture painted across the consoles. I thought it was really sharp, on a Gambler. I have an idea for a mural going from one console to the other, but have no idea what something like that would cost.

    Sandy,
I can take Pascual (the owner) the pic and he will give me a price. It will not be cheap. If I had to guess, I would think between $1000 to $1500.

Been waiting for this guy to get to it for 2 months. We finished the motor and trans at Christmas. Everything is waiting for him. Figure if we get it back for next weekend we should have it back together in 4-6 days working at night and the weekend. Here is a pic of the motor. You can see the diamond cut on the heads. We sent them out to Nevada where the company cuts them.

Candy Brandy is one of the hottest colors out in my opinion Why did you opt for the 240 over the 250 rear? They don't handle much diff if any I feel until you go 250+

The bike will be sharp for sure

    Ungotz,
Did you go with the 240 because you don't have to offset the motor?
Or did you do it for handling? Most people like the big back tires like myself. But they don't know its very hard to ride curves roads. It does takes some getting use to. But Wheels and Burnouts there is nothing like 280 to a 300 tires.
I love the colors? Can't wait to see it finished!
( You do have a Muse helping You with all these nice color combs. On the Boat and the Bike! ) Just kidding! For Sure!
    VERY VERY NICE!

    Re: Blazeman...You'll like this! (ungotz)

    Guys,
Handling with the 240 rear is actually a better ride then a stock Harley. If you recall the bike I built for my girlfriend about 6 months ago. This is her third but her first 240 and she rides this bike like a toy. The rear swing arm is made up to a 240. I would have to buy a different wide tire kit for 250 and up. You can order this two ways and one is with an offset which I do not like. There is no offset with this 240. There is however a new shaft and gear to change in the transmission and 1 inch spacers to move the primary over. Does not do anything to the balance. We have installed enough of these for friends and family we can do them with our eyes closed. I think as you start getting bigger in the rear tire you look for added problems and wear. JMO
I don't know how to search the archives or I could bring up the old bike. See if I can find some pics around here.
