As far as I can tell, G3 stopped making the HP 200 model in 2008. I have been Xpress owner for the past 5 years and although they are nice boats, I think that 200 HP model fits my fishing perfectly. Xpress doesn't offer a performance pad boat in a 20' model, and the X21 might as well be made of gold... How difficult is it to come by a used HP 200 model??? I've been searching for a couple daysn ow and have yet to hit paydirt.
i bought mine in '06 but it took a while to find it. I don't see many for sale since they stopped making them.

You might consider the new G3 Eagle 190. I have a new one and I haven't played with it yet so I'm sure it is good for GPS 60 MPH, no problem. I am very pleased with it. Have F150 Yamaha on it with 6" jackplate and it does a speedometer 60 MPH, very smooth in rough water and handles well. Nice seats and comfortable with big fishing decks. I've owned three different G3 boats and they are quality products and are owned by Yamaha. If you have any questions about this rig drop me an email and I will help all possible. I found a 2007 HP 200. Does anyone know if that was before they started making them with the all aluminum transom?? I want to know if this boat has any wood in it.
Burt, I do like the layout of the Eagle 190. I think the console is horrible.... That being said, I have no idea how it rides. I have never even seen one of the newer ones on the water...
Mine has no wood in transom as far as I can tell. Just has the 3 double braced supports.

A friend of mine's father just died. He has a 2006 HP200DC that is in prime condition. As you can tell by the model number, it is a 20 ft. boat. 200 Yamaha HPDI. Custom dual axel trailer with aluminum mag wheels. Minn Kota 80lb foot controled trolling motor. Bottom Line graph on console and Garmin 250 on deck. Cover. Built in battery charger. Her father was elderly and used this boat very little. Always garaged. It is like new. She wants to sell it and asked me to find out what it is worth. I have no idea. Any opinions? The boat is in Lees Summit, Mo.

Boat Boys in Newark, Ohio (Columbus Area) has a 2008 HP200 dual console, with 80 hours on the 200 vmax, Minnkota max pro 80 tm, etc. on their website....asking price is $19,900....I think. Good Looking boat. I have no idea if that is a good price or not?

The new Eagle series does not have a pad hull. I spoke with G3 last year about the Eagle Series 170,180,190. It is a different hull from the previous HP series which ended in 2008.
