    ETec hydralics 'drain down'

Over time (several days, not hours) I've noticed that the trim hydraulics on my ETec (model E90DPLSOR serno 05110886) drain down and the engine goes vertical.

This is just a minor annoyance, and the motor has 5 years left in warranty, so I'm not particularly concerned, but wondered if this is an issue which could get worse and 'break something' if not attended?

Walk softly and carry a big fish,

Re: ETec hydralics 'drain down' (BlackSilver)

Mine does the same thing, I have had the trim unit replaced under warranty but it still does this. I have not taken it back it performs just fine, but like you said it will leak down over time about a couple hours it depends on the temperature. I will probably wait till the offseason to take it back and have it checked out.
