My trolling motor bounces like crazy when I get in rough water. I have tried to attach straps to the rail but the bolts always pull out of the aluminum. Has anyone had the same issue?
Thinking of installing a bounce buster or Ram Mount, anyone have either and does it work?

My motor guide use to bounce. I switched to a Minn kota and it stays in place. With my motor guide I put the strap under the trolling motor mount. And used the bolts in the mount to secure it.

My MK 70 had a velcro strap to hold it down. My MK 80 doesn't but does not seem to bounce.
