    splash well

Hello! I am new to boating all together so I have a rookie question. I just purchased a '00 Cobra and in the splash well, on the port side, there is a hole opposite of the starboard side (where all the steering cables, fuel line etc come out). On the port side, there is nothing going into the hole. There is also no cover. I need a cover for that hole! Does anyone else have that?
It looks like there was originally a cover there with three screw holes.

I believe thats where your plug outlet goes for an on board charger

That would make since seeing as how the on board charger is missing. I suppose there is a cap or something that someone manufactures? The aftermarket on board charge doesn't come with something to cover that hole.
I have tried searching "splash well hole cover" but that isn't effective.

I doubt you will find the exact cover but you could just cap it off and make it look like an access port. Check here:

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!

I had to replace mine a few years back. I found one at Bass Pro that I think was the exact same as the original. Try this: http://www.basspro.com/Onboard...74549 I think this is the one I got.

That is the same as the one I have on mine. These parts are not made only for the Cobra they are made to be used in a lot of different boats and other applications. The only part that is specific to the Cobra is the Hull, Top Cap, Windshields, seats and a plastic cover over the back edge of the splashwell. Oh, and the front Assembly for the Graph. Everything else can be purchased someplace else.

Good info dc, nice link! That would be the ticket, especially if Troy is going to be installing an onboard charger.
