Well, perfect it here then offshore the production so the quality will go down hill.
I would be interested in seeing the product, though. I can use a 1/2 deck insert.

I thought about buying one but then decided that i would just build them i have a friend of mine that owns a manufacturing company... they will be built out of aluminum all welded... we will have the first one built sometime next week or the week after.... i was at the shop this morning trying to decide what all options will be availbe on them....
You might want to consider a step up to the front deck with a hinged lid that could be used for storage or ?. Just a thought. Sounds like what you're doing is a good idea. Several people have inquired about a full or half deck insert over the years. Be sure to post a pic when the first one is finished!
