I was wondering if anyone has experienced this problem. I have an 03, 150 Ficht and am experiencing difficulty with the trim button on the motor. It sticks at times (doesn't stop when you take your finger off) and other times it will just start to move up and down while the boat is sitting on the trailer. It never happens when the engine is running. Is this just a switch or a bigger problem?

Make sure you check all your trim switches. It could be the one on the bow if you have one.

Northernbullet, I have an ficht motor and a couple years ago I had problems with my trim too. It would trim on its own and stick sometimes. I had to replace my throttle shifter lever. The trim switch had gotten wet and had a bad connection. No problems since.
Mine did the same thing. It would just take off by itsself while on the trailer. To make for sure it was the switch on the motor I simply removed the hood, unplugged that switch (very easy to do) and let it go for a day. Problem disappeared, replugged motor switch, problem re-occured, called C&O and had a switch sent out, problem fixed
