It might be a dumb question....but you are referring to a LCD type graph...correct?

I took a gander at the pics in the Show Off your Cobra post and it looks like the most popular way is the way I was thinking. Right in front of you.
i have mine mounted on the rail with a ram mount and I love it. I will try and get you a pic of it.

I have an older Eagle unit so it's much smaller than newer ones and I have it mounted right in front of me on the console. I also have my hand held GPS mounted right to left of it too.

I also have mine in front of me. Works great there.
I have a lowrance 522 and a humminbird 797 both on rams on the gunnel next to my windshield and they both work great.
