    So much for Quality Control

Every since I bought my 201D I have had some issues with my live well pumps throwing a breaker, especially if I had them both on at once. I have changed out both of my pumps and it didn’t help.

I have lived with it because it is not too bad as long as I only use one live well. After this weekend I had finally had enough of it so I decided I would track down the problem. I thought that I would start by replacing the breaker. To make a long story short I figured out that my breaker panel was wire exactly opposite from how it should have been wired from the factory. Whoever wired it just started from the wrong end so that out of eleven breakers the only one that was correct was the one in the very middle. This put my main power coming in on a 5amp breaker instead off a 20amp.

There are a couple of names on the inside of the panel of , I guess the person who wired it and another that inspected it. But, no neither one is Kathy.

Anyway I’m glad I finally got that worked out.

Re: So much for Quality Control (Cobraman)

Well, the names you found on the inside of the panel was not anyone from Cobra. Those are names from the manufacturer of the panel.

And whoever wired your boat at the plant OBVIOUSLY did it on a Monday morning or a Friday afternoon !!!

Pat....I think Kathy was a supervisor by the time your rig was wired. You know how it is once a person gets to be a supervisor....just give your stamp of approval on the QC for everything and go back to drinkin' coffee and readin' the paper in your office! I think a guy named Chip wired your boat or maybe it was Larry Brehm?

I thought I would be on Easy Street by now but somehow I missed the off ramp!
