    201 225 efi prop

I just bought a used 225 efi and I'm wondering if my 25 tempest is gonna be the right prop for this. 10" manual jp, low water pick ups, thinking of starting at 3.25 below pad. Seems everyone runs 25 or 26 trophys.

I had word from a guy running almost the same setup that you have and he is set at about 1" below the pad with a 26 Tempest and running 75+. You may want to see about raising it up some more and letting that 25 get some R's. That motor should be happy running 5900-6000.

Thanks Gary, this is the motor I bought from Mike. Haven't got it rigged yet, waiting for a jp, hopefully this week.

Make sure you mount the plate and the motor so you can get the engine heigth you may need. Glad Mike was able to take care of you.
