    Bow Cap for older Charger

Hi Folks! Glad I found a group of Charger owners. I was wondering if someone could help me out with a problem.
Over the last few months, I have been restoring an older Charger Bass boat. It is a 1978 Charger 747 XLV. this old girl is in real good shape. It has a 115 Johnson motor that is also in good shape. It has always been kept inside, and well taken care of. Just needed a lot of tender loving care, as well as a few upgrades and repairs.

One thing I am having a problem finding is a bow cap for the front end. This cap is made to cap the trim where the deck cap fit over the hull. It is made of Aluminum, I think. At the front there is a space where the trim strip comes together, this cap covers this. It has 2 screws on it. Slides into place, the screws hold it in place.

I am trying to find this part, or even better, a old 747 that someons is parting out. If anyone knows of one, please advise.

I have talked to Charger, Michelle says they do not have any parts that old. Please keep your eyes open for me.
    Thanks
    Kyle Robinson

    Thanks Very much.

Here is a pic of the front trim pcs. You can see where the missing piece would go.
    Thanks

dont know if they still make metal rails anymore but a machine shop should be able to fab you one up just a little bending.

TOC, that may be what I need to do.
Yes, it just slips straight in, 2 screws hold it in place. It has a track-like machined groove in it where the trim pcs go. It is not a rail or anything. I have tried a body shop, and they cannot find a pc of trim like it.
