Well it got in the way & we wont use it!
If we ever take a person that needs a place to sit, it will be very rare & they can still sit there between the seats low & secure as the boat rides smooth in the rough anyhow.
I used no slip sticky back to cover where the hinge was & cut three nice rounded cornered no slip stickys on the left side for a secure footing while stepping up on rear deck.
I had to wipe the area off (I used fingernail polish remover) before sticking them as a little overspray of BTS was on the surface from me doing the seats weeks ago, the first one would not stick at all even after a good cleaning with windex to the surface first.
