What can you guys tell me about this boat? How does it ride and fish and how does it run? Is there any wood in the construction?
I have a 1999 495 TF with 225 Yamaha and i am pretty sure that the 395 is not much different. Here some things I like about it.
The boat rides like a Cadillac. By far one of the best rough water boats you can find
-It has enough speed for me. 70.2 GPS.
-It has large gas tank. 56 gallon tank.
-Gel coat, seats, carpet all are holding up exceptionally for me after all these years.
-One of my favorite things that a lot of people overlook is access to pumps and bilge. This boat has a tray that you just lift up so you can make any repairs or clean bilge area. That is worth its weight in gold for me. No pulling out seats to access but etc.
-Customer Service is outstanding.
-I have 22 rods in my rod locker and you could get 20 more in.
-Pleanty of storage space.
As far a any wood I am pretty sure that they had gone away from wood on this model, but not certain.
