I have been flirting with the idea of selling my boat to pay off my wifes car. If I do this I can justify getting a newer boat. I just dont know what I would ask for mine.
It is an 87 180V.85 yammy 175.
Here are what is wrong with it; The line that goes to the front livewell has been unhooked. So when I fill the back livewell I then have to turn on the bilge pump since the water from the front runs to the back of the boat.
The top cap is really faded, rough to the touch, rest of boat is good though.
It needs new prop, and or jackplate (it will get on plane ok if you are by yourself but if you have someone with you the other person has to lean up on the front deck)
Has normal battle wounds
The speed selector on the trolling motor quit working, only the slowest speed works
Here is what I have done so far;
Completely re-wired the boat, every wire is new.
Built a new flipping deck with 2 storage compartments
Added a graph into the floor up front
Recessed the trolling motor control.
Rebuilt the dash and installed a graph in it
New carpet
New windshield
Replaced blown Merc with Yammy
Yammy gauges
New throttle and shift cables
Some of the smaller problems would be an easy fix, that I could do before I were to sell it, but the livewill one I probably wouldnt mess with and the top cap I wouldnt mess with. What would be a fair price.
