    Need Some Champion Help

Hello, I recently bought my first bass boat. A 1993 Champion. Hull#TSB19638A393. Can anybody out there help me identify where it was made and what model it is? Will that # tell me what motor came on it? It has a Mercury 200xri/efi Serial #C273588. I need help with the set-up, it has a Rapid Jack jackplate and a precision propellor 14 1/4 x 24 that doesn't seem to wanna get up out of the hole very fast. Once it does it runs awesome. I was wondering if there is a manual for this boat that i can purchase?

Re: Need Some Champion Help (paul holt)

I can tell you it was built in Mtn Home, AR and it was built in January 93 and titled as a 93. Need to measure from the nose to the transom down the center of the boat. Probably going to be a 201 or a 190 (if the 190 was rated for 200). Need more info on the prop (Mfg & Model). Starting spot for the jack plate is going to be with the prop shaft about 3 1/2" below the pad. The hull will lift best with Merc Tempest prop, but with a 24 or 25, hole shot will be a little slow. If you have the deck insert, the long nose is going to make a lot of lift with that 2.5L unatainable. I have a manual I can e-mail you
