Daaaaammmmm. It felt like it had some air under it. Thanks Tyler, for letting my try it. I didn't think it would turn 5900 rpm with the 27 fury, but it did and the boat was liking it. I need one!

How did you have the boat loaded? Do you think it will turn 5900 in the heat of the summer? Just wondering.

    Re: James.Harner's Champ--Pics and Video! (H2O_Fowl)

Boat had 1/2 tank of full, all rods and gear, little tackle(wintertime light lures!), empty livewells, 4 batteries, just me (240# 6'3"). I think I would need a 26 P in the heat of the summer or with a full tournament load. The 27 Fury was great out of the hole and was extremely responsive throughout the powerband. This Evinrude has always been a Hoss! Hitting 5900 RPM was suprising, so I guess I need to buy a 26 and a 27.

    Re: James.Harner's Champ--Pics and Video! (08 198 Champ)

I had 1/2 tank of fuel, all my rods, limited amount of tackle, no water in wells, 4 batteries, and myself(6'3, 240+/-) . Ran 73 at 5900RPM. Awesome holeshot, midrange, topend. This prop would be too much in the summer loaded. I wish I had filled the livewells and run it. I think she would have ran close to the same, but not in the summertime.
