    Thats cool Butch, need to replace fuel line from tank to motor how hard is this or how much line do I need? Thank you nothin rides like a CHAMPION!!! nuff said.

    Not sure on how much but I would take it off and measure to go to a marine supply and buy what you need.

    Love mine, its my first boat. I have rode and driven in other boats and other champs, and I love my 188. I need a new Jack plate and I need to figure out why the engine won't go over 5200 rpms (tach could be broken, or something with the throttle) but I love her. I will try and post some pictures soon.

    Love my 188 so much. It fishes bigger than a 18 foot boat. Im getting good speed out of it also. Unfortunitely, its having some fiberglass work done on it right now.............Mississippi river pool 13, 64 mph and a log, not a good combination. Champ lost.

    I have a 09 190CX DC(same boat,just newer model),200 Optimax..LOVE it.Bought it new last summer from Freedom. This is my second ChampioN.I wouldn't own anything else.Fishes much bigger than 19 ft..Best speed I have gotten was with a 25 Fury 71.09@5630,3 1/8 inches under,second was a 26 Tempest Plus that came on it 70.91@5650 2 3/4 under..I have fished Ky.Lake several times.Its all I need.Fit and finish is superb!!THANKS to all you guys and gals in Tenn.Its easy to see she was built with PRIDE

    Have one too. 2004 188. Love it. Only problem is I don't get to use it much.
    Bought brand new in 2004. Only 100 hours on engine.

    188 is sweet, and i would have bought one that i looked at before buying my 183.
    Reason why i didn't go with the 188 is the leg room behind the driver's console was limited. I'm 6'2", and my knees hit the console.
    The 183 has noticably more leg room behind driver's console..

    I absolutely love mine, or should I say my wife Martha's boat. Ours is an 05 188 Elite also. One of the best boats we have ever owned.
