Was a good boat for its purpose of fishing shallow, rocky rivers. Price seems a bit steep, but I don't have a clue what they cost when new.
Thought they called them Back Country boats?
Not that one, Fred. In the 94 brochure, it is called an Explorer. It is not featured in any other year brochures for some reason. The Back Country boats were more along the lines of the Bass n Bay, as well as some of the Bay Boats.
Typical fiberglass jon boat for the Ozark rivers in Arkansas. Shallow draft, built like a tank and could take a beating. Very over priced with no engine.
That's what I thought too. Maybe he doesn't really want to sell it. I've been looking for a Fiberglass float boat to take my father in. He guided on the White and James back in the day before the TR project.
He was a slick one with the proper use of a boat paddle, lost art nowadays.

I am in mt home right now and stopped to look at this very boat an hour ago. I think the guy said it only had two owners. Has the regular gravel scratches on the bottom but the boat is in really good shape for the year. Would realy like to have one of these.
Hey. That is high on a trout boat that age. There is a guy in Mt. Home that makes #1 boats, the same guy who helped with the molds for Supreme before they tanked. He makes a real nice boat for around 6 grand with trailor, no engine, and a more economical one for about 5 with trailor. He is also selling his boat for around 4500, no engine. He can equip with engine at wholesale if you like. Harley Carlson 870-404-2997. He has fixed my trout boat after it sunk in a flood and did a great job, also did some fiberglass work on my Champion as well. Real good guy. His shop is close to the walmart in Mt. Home, Arkansas.
I heard the same thing about him too.
