Something ain't right. Boat looks too good for $6500.00 There is more to the story. Engine, trailer, transom or options all could likely have some type issue. I would think if it were immaculate it would bring around 12k easy.

Does anybody really trust anything you read on craigslist..This site needs to be banned for its abuse/fraud. Would never catch me buying anything off that site.

That is why I just listed my boat on here. I was getting so much spam/fake offers off of craiglist, I didn't know which emails were real and which were fake. I listed my boat last week and its gone. I was probably overly worried when the guy got here to buy mine just because of craigslist (thus my other posts about selling it).

BBC is the way to go.

I talked to the guy this afternoon. There is more to the story of why he is selling it. It it his personal business so I wont air it here.

Gonna take a look at it next week, as I'll be in the eastern tennesse area.

But....Ive been told to stay away from it due to the motor. The guy didnt seem to know if the motor started out life as a 200 or what?? If its a 245 or some derivative there of, I'll pass on it for sure.

If its a fishing motor 200 and hasnt been hot rodded too much, it might follow me home.....

regardless, I don't see how it could get out of it's own way with any 2.5

.......and I've run several big boats with little motors, but that's a big boat!

I looked at the ad here and it is the same phone number, but unless they changed the seats, carpet and pin stripes its not the same boat??
