    Lost Power....

.... Electricity that is at 7:45am yesterday from the 70+ MPH storm that blew through... Estimated restore time is 5:45am tomorrow... Over 800,000 homes lost power yesterday & it's down to maybe 280,000 right now...

Got the generator hooked up to the Fridge/Freezer but no water from the 220v well pump... Cooked burgers & beans on the grill last night & hooked up the coffee maker this morning....

Lot's of yard waste to clean up - but no severe damage

May have to run up to the lake to take a bath though

No power in my neighborhood either in Bel-Salvador. Neighbors across the street have it... all I care about is that it is back on by Friday so I can plug my boat in after fishing and be ready for Saturday.

Glad you are OK!!! Sorry about the lost power!!!! Been there...fortunately, my water pump is 110, so my portable generator took care of everything except heat/AC. New whole-house generator is a great thing to have. I feel a lot better now....

Lot's of misc damage from tree limbs in my town, we had 68 Mph winds but never lost power.

The home next to me is foreclosed on and they moved out and left a trampalene (sp?) in the back yard.

The wind picked it up lifted it over my 6 ft fence and placed it in my yard.

I took it apart and tossed it back over, Steve 187 said his kid wants one, if I had known that prior to the dis-assemble ol Steve could have had it.

    See ignorance daily

Maya will be sad with Uncle Butch! At least I don't have to worry about them busting a limb!

Gunnar, glad you are OK. We did not get anything major here. Lots of sticks from the tree in my yard is about it.

Glad to hear you are okay. Scary stuff. It's a little different down in LA. It's 102 degrees today with a 110 heat index and no rain for weeks. The water temp on my home lake is 93.5. The fishing is horrible. I'd rather have this weather than what you just went through though.

Glad there was no damage. Living down here on the coast we learn to live with it during Hurricane season. Maybe one day I will get me a natural gas 25kw Generator and continue on in life as nothing ever happen. having electricity has spoiled us all.

Yep - I intend to get one of those too when I retire to the lake down in SC.... Still no power restored (3rd day now) & expected recovery is now midnight tommorow night... Not sure that little 3,500 watt machine is going to keep running or not, but so far she's doing the job to keep the Fridge frozen

Power was restored at 2:05pm -- Good thing too because I'm picking up my 23 year old daughter at the airport in a few hours.... She's home for a week and was not looking forward to a week of bad hair days
