Ideas on Mounting EZ VIEW on my Champ

Ok so I bought an EZ View Tackle System a few months back and am finally wanting to get it installed. I was looking at it today and was planning on mounting it in the center and right hand storages. The right hand rod locker is no problem because the "bump" in the compartment that EZ View recommends mounting to is perpendicular to the mounting strips. However, in the center storace, "the "bump" in the lid where I will be mounting is parallel to the strip clips, and is located in the center of storage, which makes moutning a pain. I was planning on doing to 2 columns in the middle compartment but the "bump" in the center makes it tough. Anyone ever mount an EZ View in their Champ or have any ideas? Thanks

Mine is in the center compartment. Just a single row. However, lots of folks have installed more in the rod lockers, and I hope they will re-post their pictures.

Mine are mounted only in the center like Lea's & I use Cooks on the rod locker lid... This pic is from my 181 but I did the same thing on the 198 except with black Cooks on the side...

Re: Ideas on Mounting EZ VIEW on my Champ (Gunnar)

I ordered the EZ View system for my Champ but haven't installed it yet. My 206 has the "foam?" on the underside of all the lids, including covering up the "bump" in the lids. Guess I'm going to have to cut out the foam, as I now know from experience that double sided tape doesn't work!! Anyone else installed a Cooks or EZ View under the "foam" lids???

Yes - on my 198... Just use short stainless screws & drill a small pilot hole - You will not go through the rasied center portion and just tighten it down tight right on top of the foam....
