    Sealant Question around bumper

The clear sealant that was put from factory on top and bottom of bumper all the way around is coming off and time to a redo. It looks like silacone and it's lasted for the last 10.5 years. Anyone know what that product is from factory? I was thinking of going back with 3M 5200. I would think that would be good for the rest of it's life.

I would stick with Clear Marine 100% silicone.

That sounds good to me. I guess there's a differance between marine and non marine silicone?

Go with Starbrite Clear Silicone. It is for use above and below the water line. 3M products don't come in clear anymore. You could also go to West Marine. Their brand comes in clear and they make a caulking gun size tube. It is also good above/below the water line.

Great thanks! I like the gun tube idea.
