recessed foot control?

I have a 93 champ 184dc and i was thinking about putting in a recessed foot control tray. Has any body put one in a 184, which one would you recommend? Pro's and Con's? Just want to make sure its able to be done before I cut a hole in my boat and realize I have messed up! I have a motorguide trolling motor.

It's a good deal, your'll love it not only for your back it also will give you access to all those areas in the bow your hand could never reach before, and if you don't like it would be very easy to patch and cover back up with carpet!
