Pump Out Replacement Done with a Attwood Tsunami 800 - problem

Very odd... the pump operates but only a very very weak bit of water seems to come thru the external outlet and it just rolls down the boat, no trajectory.

Anyone have this problem ? The Tsunami 800 was setup such that the water comes in thru the bottom and exits thru that elbow out to the exterior tube. And i tried this with tanks full.

I'm not a big pump out person ... never really used it.... do you need to run the pump out when you have the livewell intake closed ? I think it was closed but just asking.

Needs a bigger pump: based on what your stating go up to a 1000 model.

I just added a pump-out on mine and the presuure/volume of my rule 800 is going to force me to change it to a 1000 unit as well.

Thats wierd, I have a 500 gph mayfair and it shoots it about 3 feet above the boat when it pumps out. Do you have your livewell drain closed?

i checked to see if the impeller was spinning in same direction as my bildge and it is... i't spinning such that the " ) " bend goes to the right..... versus having the cup side " ( " spinning clockwise... since my bildge seems in i assume it's spinning fine...

i'm not rocket scientist but what i notice is that since i have this Tsunami 800 setup to pull in the water on bottom and push it out thru the 90 degree elbow which then hits up with another 90 degree elbow before exiting the boat... that i assume that the water is having a hell of a time pushing it's way thru that dang 90 degree elbow #1 and then the 2nd 90 degree elbow under the top skin is just too much.

Am I wrong guy.
