What have I got? Anyone know?

Hi,

I just got a restoration project - an '87 Champion 176 with a 115 Merc - from my father-in-law. I was looking for insurance and thought I'd get the value from NADA and they list 4 models:

- Super Champ
- Super Champ Fish and Ski
- Super V
- Super V Fish and Ski

Can anyone tell me how to know the difference and figure out what I have?

Definitely a fish n ski as the rod lockers are padded. As to Super Champ or V you'll have to wait on Lea or Pat

The photos in the brochure I have do not show the clear differences between the regular F&S and the Super Champ F&S. Wish I could help further. Pat?

The difference is in the dash and bow panels if I remember correctly. Just like the differences between a CX model and an Elite. Same hull just more bells and whistles. Lea you need to look at the option page in the brochure to tell what is what.

No arrow pins, painted fenders give it away.

Thanks, Pat! I had forgotten about the single pin on my Super Champ vs the double pins of the Elites/Super Vs.

Options page does not help if I can't see the various features in the photos that were posted.
