    North Carolina Campers?

Just got a travel camper and am looking to find a good campground capable of handling a 33 foot travel camper with water and electric hookups in the Badin Lake, Tuckertown Res. area. I know of Badin Shores Resort and not looking for that long term situation.

That's it. Got to wait till the temps cool down a lot to the 70s-80s. Went 3 times this June in 90 degree temps and the heat got the best of me took. It took a week to get over the exposure. Be careful folks over 60. That heat don't play! Drink plenty of water. Drink 1-12oz Gator-aid for every 4-12oz water

Norwood Campground @ Tillery might work....

We just signed papers on a camper last week and decided to go south, found an annual spot on Lake Murray....

    Good luck....

Siesta Cove Marina & RV Park. We wanted to find a place on Wateree to keep the drive a little shorter, but the wife didn't like campgrounds. Siesta seems like a fairly nice place, little store, good ramp and docks, pool, etc. This is our first time with a trailer so we'll see how it goes.....

ncbas got a close friend who has a restaurant up Beaver Creek on the Wateree. I think the hwy is 97. They own both the River Deck and the place across the road I am not sure of the name but it is the best place to eat around the lake.
