Man if that aint a kick in the nads....![]()
Those ain't no stratos's . BTW, the I like the colors of the last one with the sho![]()
This one is posted over on the Stratos board (from Wired-to-Fish) -- really not sure how I feel about it, but one thing is for sure... Harder to change out the laser engraved logo on the trailer than on the hull...![]()

Looks like they broke the stripe thru the Stratos name on the sides. They knew what was going to happen. I wouldn't be surprised if that name is molded into the boat.
I cant begin to explain how dumb that looks,To me that is one of the dumbest ideas Ive ever seen, putting a stratos decal on a champion.

This one already has numbers. Looks like Randy Hopper has picked his new rig.![]()
Kinda nice to have a rig that actually performs as advertized!

Looks like a leftover 09 Champion dumped on a Stratos trailer and Stratos sticker. Give it about 2-3 years before the materials/construction and design changes. Its better to have them around then totally discontinued.
I agree... besides... everyone knows that champion arrow on the side, thats been around along time..just my .02

Ive owned a Stratos 201 Pro XL and Ive owned a Champion 210 Elite...if they could take the positives from both models and incorporate them into the new boat, they would have a contender!![]()
Can you mix it up a little? Sure
Take a little from here and put it in that: Presto chango we have a strato/champ
Its time we all quit bitching and start pitching buy a Stratos 183, 202, or 210
Game is over!

Yep! If these boats don't sell, ChampioNs will not survive unless PE decides to sell the name and molds to another builder. Right now, I am hearing good things about the build..and, Charlie, the Stratos emblem is not molded in. In fact, PE has agreed to use less Stratos and more ChampioN in the emblems, etc...
Butch, I guess you'll be the first to buy that Stratos 210 just take that $55,000 check and get you one..JK..These boats aren't 20k anymore..I'll keep my ORIGINAL Champion 210 and enjoy it...I only worry about parts availability in the future..
I wont be taking any check to any dealer as I am taking my lil 183CX to retirement. Thats why I bought a Champ IE: It will last for the long haul.
But with my purchace out of the picture: others may be in the market for a boat.
I think I will lead them to Strato/Champ!
Until proven otherwise seems solid to me.

Someone really had there head up there you know what when they came up with that idea. Why not just keep the name? Anyone who see's that boat knows it looks nothing like a Stratos anyway.
What can you do. Decisions have been made and we have to live with it.
Guess I will keep what I have and enjoy it. Hopefully parts wont be an issue.
PE has agreed to use less Stratos and more ChampioN in the emblems, etc... That would be a step in the right direction but, then again, what is the point of it. Please someone explain to this dumb fellow WHY!!!!!!! Dose it have something to do with marketing or what.I don't think the Champion brand will go away, simply by misrepresentation.

PE decided to use Stratos marketing funding, since there was evidently not sufficient Champion marketing funds. IMHO, this is the fault of the decision-makers at Genmar. Jacobs admitted to not making the "right" decisions, and here we are.
It is what it is, folks. These 2011 boats are still fully Champions. If you want to buy a name, OK, but if you want to buy what is still the best ride, then you still have the greatest to call your own!! I have really mixed feelings, and I am not thrilled by the different decals, but I AM thrilled that 3 of our hulls are still available!!!!!
You can choose to support this venture to keep our beloved boats alive...or not. I have to support it. The negative remarks in our forum....they will not help keep us alive...![]()
Those are some damn nice looking boats. Even though its says Stratos on the side it's going to have the signature Champion ride and handling. You will definately know you ain't in no real Stratos cruisin in one of those bad boys.
And honestly, not that the TN Champs were built poorly or anything but I think the Flippin boats will be an A+ in build quality. There are a TON of OLD Rangers around still floating fishermen everyday. Doesn't mean they were the fastest, best riding or handling boats but they were/are well built and have/do take many a fisherman out on the lake. I've toured the Flippin factory and they looked to me like they know whats going on in the boat building business.
I wonder if the trailers, upholstery (sp) and seats are being made there as well?
