Just got my report after only 19 engine hours and there is 1 stored engine fault Code 38 (oil pressure pulses in distribution manifold not detected). And also it seems that there is an update Thunderbird deflector pins. Model E225DPLSD Serial number 05145678. Can someone of the techs on this board explain to me please. Thanks
The 1 stored code was probably at the predelivery when the engine was being primed. Your engine is above the range for the deflector pins. This is not a worry for you. I would however get the latest map installed, it does not show to be on your engine at this time.

I have spoken to my tech again this week and he told me that there isnt any new map update for this etec. Can someone confirm this please. Thanks
