I noticed about a month ago that there was always a constant stream of clear water coming down/out under my anchor bolt on the starboard side. I took off the metal rim on top of transom, re-epoxied it but still noticed water stream coming down.
I know for sure now that there is rot around the top anchor bolt hole because when i tighten the anchor bolt nut from outside i can hear a 'crunching' sound as i tighten it from evidentally the inside. The outside looks fine/flush but the anchor bolt is able to tighten more than the material should.
I also notice that inside the Champion there is a layer of smooth fiberglass wrap from the top cap down to the transom and the wrap/fabric is partially over the nuts.
In summary, i know i have rot around the anchor bolt area.
What do i do ? How does this get 'fixed' ? Is there a way to get this repaired to return the strength without a full hull replacement ?
Please help.

I bought this boat 2 years ago, i did the transom inspection by trying to move the engine to look for flex but this is something that i never would have known to look for.
