Well I just completed my first two week rotation of marine patrol for the state. So today being my pass day, what was I to do with myself? I know, jump in my Ranger and go fishing on Champlain! I think water, a boat and fishing are worse than crack, can't get enough!
Funny little side note to the marine patrol, yesterday I located a BBC member from New Jersey on Lake George. He didn't recognize me at first and we pulled up to him after he made a run. I advised him that he had just violated the speed limit of the lake and that I would have to seize his graphs as evidence. Needless to say he had quite the look on his face until he recognized me!
Anyway, had a beautiful day here with temperatures in the upper 80's and just enough of a breeze to keep you comfortable. Managed a few good fish from the big pond. Even opened up the ole girl today and let her stretch her legs for the first time this season. Managed a solid 68 MPH. She may not be the fastest thing on the water but she rides dang nice.
Here are a couple of pics.
