    Trim Extenders ??

Got a 09 202 w225 Pro XS, seems as if boat could use some more trim. 5600 rpm@70, 20 psi, 25p Tempest Plus, Hydro jack plate set on about 1.5 -2.0. Seems the boat like to run deep but would like to turn a few more rpms. So, any one have any experience with trim extenders??

Sounds like your speed is good for that boat. I have them on my 198 and also had them on my old 181. Definatley helps!

    Great boat!

I have a sort of trim extender on mine, but not as drastic as the regular ones. Just adds a bit of trim, rather than a whole lot.

Enjoy that boat! Would love to see pictures!

I have a 198 with the same prop/motor and had the same experience as you before the extenders. Right now I can get 70 with 2 people and 6200 rpms with the plate set at 3.75 below the pad. I think these boats with that motor need a 26 tempest or something similar... then I think the boat will run 73ish with 2 people, at about 6K.

Sweet boat Brad. I got mine from nichols in mcallester about 3 months ago. I added trim extenders to my boat.(200 elite w/225 proxs) They did help with lifting the boat out of the water. The air and water temp hasn't been too great for speed this summer, but i'm getting about 70 loaded by myself with a 25 fury. I traded my 25 tempest for a 26 tempest that i'm gonna have worked and I've also got a 25 razor 3 coming my way.

    Re: Trim Extenders ?? (okdport)

Nice Rig I'm running trim extenders (modified & milled a little shorter than stock) on my 225 standard Opti... Just got my 25p Fury back from Mark's High Performance shop... He did a B&B with slight cup added as I'm looking for some more bow lift... Previous numbers were 68-69 @ 5730 RMP loaded...

No time (yet) to run the Croxtizied Fury WOT, but (based on other props he has worked) I expect +3-4mph and strong (push back in the seat) mid-range....
