Put boat on trailer yesterday and I pushed the rubrail on nose to like a 45 degree angle. I tried to pull up and even tapped a few times with a hammer.. No go. I think screws are bent. How do you get at the screws through rope?

Pulling the rope from the aft end is the only way to do this unless you cut it, but then it will shrink and leave a gap.
Remove old screws and strip the old caulk around the repair area. Gasoline works well with silicone based calks and will not harm your gel coat. Drill new holes thru rub rail into the hull being very careful to minize gel coat chipping. Use sharp bits only. Fill old holes with marine calk and put some calk on each new screw pior to installing and calk behind the rub rail. After rub rail is re-installed calk under the rub rail. To re install the rope get it wet and real soapy and just work it in. I use a thin, stiff, narrow plastic puty knife to help work it. I recommend 3M 4200 calk as 5200 is hard to work with and is very, very tough to remove if ever needed.
