I wondering if anybody is having problems with rust on the new trailers, mind is a 08' model. The boat has never been near saltwater and has been wax several times.
Does anybody have any infor on this matter.

Unfortunately they all do it. It is a little worse down in this area though. You can get it galvanized and repaint it. You can get it sprayed w/ line-x (Bedliner) or sell it while it is worth something and go for a aluminum trailer.
Tube trailers rust from the inside out. If you have surface rust now wait another year or 2 and it will only be worse no matter how much you wax it or clean it. Do your best but dont sweat it it is gonna happen just make sure your lights,tires,bearings are in good working order and go fishin...
I have a 06', mine has also started to rust around the rear and side steps, but from past experiences I just put me some osprey rust inhibitor, got me some Etching primer and touch up paint, then try to stay on top of it. That is not uncommon for those Tube Trailers. Nature of the BEAST.

The trailer is my only complaint about my Champion. I wish the quality of the trailer matched that of the boat.
