    Model question on older Champ?

What year did they start making the 184?

I have a 1985 model Champ and the title doesn't give a model at all. It just says 18' 0". I was told by someone (It might have been someone on here?) that it is a Super Champ or a Super V or something like that.

Would I be wrong calling it a 184?

It's not a big deal. I'm just curious.

Yep...Pat is correct. They made the 184 up through 1994.

I know for sure because Pat and Lea have spoken...

    That's good enough for me.

I know it measures closer to the 18' 4", but the title is misleading and had me wondering.

Re: Model question on older Champ? (BassSER)

My 1987 is listed in the brochure as a 18'4" SV (Super V), which is a single console, not a "184". They also had a model listed as a 18'4" DCB (Dual Console Bass) and a 18'4" Fish N' Ski. Looks like 18'4" was the base hull length for several models. The Super V also came in 20'1" and 17'6" models in 1987.
