    Auxillary tank not priming

I have a 95 202 F/S that has an auxillary tank under the seats and a rotary switch that you manually turn to pick which tank is used. Everything works great when running on the main tank, but I can't get the primer bulb to get hard when trying to use the auxillary tank. If I switch to the Aux tank I run out of gas and the bulb goes flat. Any thoughts?

Sounds like the vent for the Aux tank is plugged or you have some other obstruction between the Aux tank and the valve. It's like putting your finger on the bottom of a straw and trying to suck it ... it goes flat.

Thanks. I'm not sure I can access all the hoses from the auxillary tank very easily, at least not as easily as the main, but I haven't looked at it very closely. I will now :-).
