To my E-tec experts and novices_
We, my father and I, run an '05 Strat 201 pro xl dc w/225 Etec HO. We have been running XD 50 because originally our dealer didn't have the 100. He has had it for a while but Pops always has to have extra, just in case and he keeps the gallon containers of oil filled, and I kept forgetting to say something before he filled them up. Finally we are down to the last gallon of XD 50, and we will start running the 100 when it's gone!
We know the procedures and everything to do to make the change so no need to chime in on that. We also know that it will start sipping and we'll use less in the long run!
the question I have for you all is - Will the change have any effect on performance, positve effect if any?
For those who maybe started out with the 50 and went with the 100, could you tell any difference in the way it performed? Thanks in advance for the responses!
