What a mess. Boy I was surprised.

Went out back to the new garage (30 x 40), 16 foot door,(Had to brag a little about the boat cave) I built this last season to put away some tackle I recently purcased. I opened the door and there was a haze in the air, almost like dust. I then removed the boat cover only to find that my fire extinguisher in the boat had discharged its contents under the cover. You talk about a mess. Not sure really what happened. The pin was in the extinguisher with no visible damage. I knew I would have to replace it so I took it outside and it worked properly. How could this have happened? Now I am left with a big mess to clean up. My son came up with the idea to use my new Leaf blower to blow all the stuff out then use a air compressor to get even more of it out. It looks like someone dropped a bag of flour in the boat. This stuff is everywhere. Starting my season off just like it ended.

I had my extinguisher go off on me last year. I was hooking up the boat to carry to shop, and then I was going to work once I dropped off the boat. I noticied that the extinguisher was laying of the back of the boat so I went to put up and some how made go off all over me and the boat. It made one helluva mess, and I looked like a ghost. A pressure washer will get it off and wash it out the drain.
