What retailer did you get it from?
btw...Minnkota left it that raw anodized color on purpose to draw attention. Check out their web site. I hope that the evolution in the bracket/frame is really the next generation of brackets that can withstand the pounding and stress. I hate my MG and some of the Minnkota's of the past can stand an upgrade.
