Fiberglass repair question..

I found a "nick" about the size of your small finger nail just right of the screens below the transom. It's right on the 90 of the keel and lower transom. Musta hit something backing away from shore! It appears to be thru the outer layer, as it's dark in color, not white like the hull. Any easy fix I can do? Sealant, etc.? Structural or laminate issues? !

At that location, I can't see where it would cost that much to get it fixed. But if you to just patch it, use some Marine Tex. Bad thing is, it's only available in white or gray.

If you are down to the black, you really need to get it sealed off.
