    2 cycle fuel line question

    I have 2 cycle oil in the inline fuel filter before the priming ball. My oil tank is under the cowl. The oil also slowly leaks out on top of my gas tank where the fuel line is hooked up. I am new to working on boats but I assumed that the fuel mixed at the motor so I am not sure why there is oil on top of the gas tank. Could the check valve be bad in the priming ball?

    I assume you are running a Merc. Head over to the Mercury forum and post your question with the size/model/year of your motor and they will get you fixed up,
