I can't imagine it would be a problem, but someone who knows more about that sort of thing should be along shortly...
I don't think it would hurt anything. If it were me, I'd run some pre mixed through it once or twice a year just to kind of coat the hoses to keep them from totally drying out. Wouldn't figure it'd take but 2-3 gallons.
Reggie, what do you mean by 'pre-mix' ? I have the same interest/question. I see your point on running occasionally to keep the system working though.
Gas with oil in it just to coat the inside of the hoses. Just runa a little bit through it every once in a while just to keep the inside of the hoses from drying out. It may be OK to do nothing. I would just have a better peace of mind, were it mine.
