    What Fred?
Did she hang up on you when you asked her what you always ask when she answers the phone...

It would make it easier for her to send it to you Grant.

Well, I FINALLY have all the paperwork now that Ford has gotten off it's lazy and faxed me everything I needed....So, it all goes to the dealer in the am and once processed, my new truck is ordered. As long as it is still available, it is sitting on a dealers lot about 150 miles from here.

2007 Chevy Silverado 4 door, 5.3 with active fuel management, LT1 trim package, 3.42 locking rear end, tow package, cargo management system, easy lift tailgate (for weakilings like me ), Comfort package with XM radio, Remote Start, 17" aluminum wheels, dual zone electronic climate control, and steering wheel controls for radio and cruise.

    Re: Thanks Reeda (RUSTY63)

Yeah, I picked it out a week ago, but Ford has been yankin me around for well over a week now on one single piece of paper...

But I think I'm gettin an ok deal. I am an AC Delco dealer so I get supplier pricing, and don't pay any dealer fees, prep charges, etc... The one I test drove was sooooo nice. The new body style frame and suspension is the same as the Tahoe. It rides better than any of my Expeditions have. I just got to get used to the larger turning radius. The new interior is freakin awesome too! What was funny was the salesman (a family friend) when he told me I needed to break it in before I tow. I told him "I didn't even have to break in my outboard!" Man he sure didn't believe that. Although it looks like I will take delivery on Thursday if all goes well and I have to tow the boat on Friday...

    Re: Thanks Reeda (ThePartsChick)

Jason, I was waiting on a credit reference from Ford so that I could apply for the new loan. It takes several weeks for the prior loan to clear through the system if you wait (been there, done that before). With a credit reference my credit bureau can look right away and see the loan is clear. What pissed me off is the run around I got...I paid it off last monday, they took the money out of my account on tuesday....but didn't post the loan as paid until late Fri night. Then I was told it would take an additional 5 business days to verify the money was in my account (like I paid with a check) even though it was a direct wire transfer. Then, they told me that it would take another 5 additional business days before they could give me a reference, even though the girl I spoke to the day prior said no problem at all...Then yesterday morning I called back and the girl said no problem, but it goes into a computer and takes 24-48 hours for the computer to send me the fax....Uggh! The fax did come in last night before I left work and all that info is now in the hands of my salesman.

Hey AB, you really ought to get a 3.73 ratio in the rear for pullin. The 3.42 is great for fuel efficiency empty, but will eat your lunch when pullin that purdy 201 around! Just my personal experience! Wish I had a new chevy or your 201!

I thought about the 3.73 until I towed the 201 with my fathers Silverado that has the 3.23 and a 4.8. It towed MUCH better than my 5.4 with 3.73's did. I appreciate the feedback though.
