No doubt about it you can for sure tear up a boat REAL QUICK on that lake if you don't know where to run! I've been known to take or short cut or two when I need to get somewhere quick out there.![]()
Right now, I'm catching 13.75 inch fish everywhere I go on Old Hickory (limit is 14"). The big ones require some work to find unless they just get lost and hang out with the short fish. The best time for big fish is at the end of May. Now is a good time for numbers and fun but the quality kicker fish are going to be scarce. If the pros can get on some 4 to 6 lb fish during the day, they'll be doing something.
