Looks to me like you have a nice boat! No need for a new one with a big payment is there? Use that extra money for gas. Fish more fish more often that way.

Its not the boat I realy wanted to git rid of. It was mostly the motor that sucks so much gas I wanted to get rid of. I love the boat. it has its problems, but they are fixable.

Keep your foot out of it and the fuel bill won't be so bad, 4,500 RPM should be the sweet spot.

I always say I'm going to do that, but after about a mile I want to go fast again. I want to buy champits boat that way I can run 4500 RPM's and still pass everybody on the river.

Nate, stop over and we'll talk. The block should be done soon. I don't think you will be able to handle this monster... Of course, if you are going to be fishin a jig it might work out well cause you'll be shakin real good ! Come on over and sit in it, that's free (yet).

    Re: I felt bad... (champit)

I will sometime Jim. Its pretty hectic around here right now, getting ready for vacation and we have a ninspector coming to look at our apartment, trying to rent a house and working over time right now so I can get most of Fri off and still have a 40 hour check when I return. Its getting crazy

If I did get it Jim you would have to take me out and show me how to drive it, because your right. most likely I wouldn't be able to handle a 85 mph boat at first. i've never even really had to deal with chine walk. The one time it did I will admit, I was pretty scared at first.

Jim has a 97?? 202 with a 02 250 merc xb that he has modified. he claims it will be an 85mph boat when he gets the powerhead back. Don't really need the speed here, but it sure would be fun passing everybody. I might even be able to make some money racing in it.

You better make alot of money racing it because you will need it to pay for gas with that 250!

Just stay away from the Strokers, Bullets and Allisons or you will be buying them gas.

I know that. I can't be any worse then what I already have. YOu don't see many of those boats around here. Mainly champs, rangers and skeeters. Sometimes you'll get a stratos or triton and I think I've seen one Allison in about 5 years and maybe 3 gamblers total. We get alot of guys up here with big baha's that think they are top shit and nothing can touch them. man i'd like to get that boat and pass them and flip em off on the way by.
