I need to replace the gas shocks on the front tackle compartment and rear deck lids. They are made by Attwood under the Spring Lift name. They both have SL 36 marked on them. I've communicated with Attwood and they told me the part number is incomplete. It should be SL 36 XX with the XX being the strength of the shock in pounds. Anyone know what this should be for the different lids on my boat? 20, 30, 40 lbs??? I have a call into Champion but have yet to hear back.

might call a dealer and ask them what ones they take on the new 203 Limited....they will be the same lids
I just did mine for same year and model. Call Carol at C & o Marine. She may remember the parts. The middle front box was 20 lbs. The rear main lid was a 50 since that was the next up from 20 lbs. They were just under 18 inches extended I believe. Haven't done the rod lockers yet. You can get their 800 phone number off the web. Good luck. My name is Jim.
