    Need a Cover for a 203..

My cover was pretty messed up from the previous owner, and I'm wanting to get a new one... Which one are you guys using for a 203 SC Champion with a 225? I want one thats heavy duty, will last a long time, fits good, and is of good quality.. Price really isn't an issue for this cover... Thanks..

Both Deans and Aurora make great covers for our Champs...

If your 203 is an 08, Aurora is making the covers. They just made a ratcheting one for my 05 198! It is perfect!!!

My '08 183 came with an Aurora cover and I can't say I'm thrilled with it. It's very heavy and I don't really like the ratchets. They're cumbersome and I cover mine with some old canvas reel pouches when taking off and putting on the cover because I don't want them to chip my boat. I had an Aurora cover on a previous champ that had the old ropes and rings, and liked it better. In fact, I've thought about seeing if I can have this one converted to ropes and rings. If you don't know what I mean by ropes and rings, go to their website and look at the instructions for putting on the tarp, as it's out of date.

the ratchets is the one huge thing that i hate about the Aurora covers....they are decent covers but if it had ratchets on it there wouldnt be no way t would go on my rig...if they had ropes or something to that effect on them they wouldnt be too bad....my cover is custom made and i think that is the best way to go really...then you can have it done the way you want....mine isnt exactly the way i would have had it done but it had already been at the cover shop before i even knew about it so i will live with it and i can always take the cover back to the guy that did it and have it redone in sections like when i have a longer TM put on here before long i hope

I guess it's all a personal preference thing. I have the Aurora with ratchets. It has only one strap midway on either side instead of a bunch....and the ratchets tighten it down tighter than any other cover I've ever had... I really like it.
