203 Champ Prop and Jack Question??

What would be the ideal set up on a 2004 203 with a 2006 Merc Opti 225? I currently have a 25P on it...

3.5 to 3 1/4 below the pad, trim extenders and a worked 26 tempest.....I run a 25 tempest but it's on the limiter in cooler weather

Where can you purchase the trim extenders...i have heard a lot about them but never used them...

I think you can get them from c&o Marine...I think the Champion website has them as well....It will make a big difference.....Your Champ needs all the postive trim it can get

What kind of speed are you getting on your rig???

I usually see 72 -73 on the limiter in cool weather on my 25 tempest...that just me 1/2 tank of gas and tackle....I need to try a 26 tempest...I need ones thats worked, because most if not all 26 tempest are off right out of the box..I'm running 3 1/4 under pad....What speed are you running with your 25 tempest

Well I just sold my Ranger and bought this Champ and have only had it at 70-71 in the limited time I have had to drive it (didnt push it). The guy I bought it from was saying around 75 but dont know yet...Will know this weekend.

what rpms were you turning at 71?

Man, ill have to take pen and paper this weekend to write everything down...i had a short time to run it on lake fork this weekend when i picked it up and wasnt paying a whole lot of attention to exact rpms, etc. Just saw it bump 71 a couple times on GPS...Ill get some numbers this weekend and get them to you...
