    priming oil lines

I dont have my etec yet, its on the way though. I have read the manual where it states that if there is air in the lines,, its recommended that the owner runs the 'self-winterizing" feature to help purge the system. Now if i start the self winterize feature that will push the air bubbles into the engine and on the bearings, or into the combustion chamber. right?

Or when you run the self winterize feature, does the EMM pre lube the engine while its still off, that split second before it fires up?

of course i could always go to the dealer but say that wasnt the option. I might be thinking too much.

    Re: priming oil lines (ssrmr2)

THere will be no need for you to prime the oil lines. This is done while the dealer is setting it up.
