    demo motors

Are the demo motors just as good as new? I have found one of my likings and need to know if there is anything i should be aware of. It still has 2.5 yrs on the warentee and has about 45 hours on it mostly at idle. and a scratch on the cowling. other than that its a good etec. Has anyone purchased one of these used motors before? anything i need to be aware of or cautions?

    THanks

    steve

    Re: demo motors (ssrmr2)

A demo motor is just an engine that BRP gave the dealer a deal on to display or run & show customers. It gets registered to the dealer at the time of shipment. If the deal is passed on to you then it's a good engine to buy. Promo offers do not apply to demo motors though.

The good thing is that you can have a" peace of mind "that it is a reliable product with some of the best technology and factory backing in the industry.
