    My 1988 Cajun

Really wanted to know some information about the exact model that I have as I cannot find it nor do I know where to enter in the identification number to research it.

Will post pictures soon, but for now what I know about the boat.

Obviously a Cajun boat, 1988 specifically
    17' max
    75 hp two live wells
two storage area's left and right and a walk way in the middle
base color is the red sparkles. Someone has redone the top half/interior of the boat to grey.
Seats are original and just starting to come apart so thankfully the boat has been well taken care of.
Currently has a 60hp Oil injected mercury 2 stroke(Solenoid choke went out and has a jimmy rigged wire to pull/push to activate it and everything else is working).

I'm not a complete retard and I know an Oil injected motor should have it's own oil pouch instead of mixing. Would it harm the motor mixing the oil/gasoline instead of having an oil pouch specifically? And I haven't seen the oil pouch anywhere and the only thing I have not done is pop the cover off of the motor just yet.

Also had some questions about the two live wells as it looks to be that someone has done away with an aerator and put a reciprocating system into it. I haven't had a chance to get on the water just yet as I've just purchased the boat 3 days ago. Will post back in a few hours after I've completed what I want to with the boat and will post pictures of everything I'm talking about to try and help out haha.

    Re: My 1988 Cajun (blindkiller)

Pictures being posted, crappy but whatever. Just starting to wrap up everything so it's fish ready come registration on Monday.

The pictures don't do the boat full justice, but still does enough that it's hard to believe this is a 1988 boat that's in near original condition.

Looks like a Cajun Demon to me without the full windshield. Not really sure about the oil system on that particular model and motor, but I will throw something out there. If the system has not been removed then it should have an oil reservoir that runs from down below up to a smaller reservoir at the top of the motor. You can premix without an issue, but in my opinion if you have oil injection then it is best to use it if at all possible.
So does it look like both livewells have been redone?
Congratulations on the purchase. Nice Cajun.
